OK, so let's say you've got a kernel that is faster than what ATLAS is
presently using, how do you get ATLAS to use it? First, of course, you
put the source in the CASES directory, and update the appropriate
<pre>cases index file. Then, you take different steps depending on
how you wish to do the install, as discussed in the following sections.
In all of these discussions, <pre> is replaced by your type/precision
modifier (one of s, d, c, z).
