ATLAS 3.7.1 Opteron Timings

This release was really all about closing the gap between 32 and 64 bit performance. The original 3.6.0 timings were:

32-bit vs 64-bit for ATLAS 3.6.0 DGEMM on 1.6 Ghz Opteron

Here's the new timings:

32-bit vs 64-bit for ATLAS 3.7.1 S/DGEMM on 1.6 Ghz Opteron

As you can see, the two versions are now very comparable when run serially. I have not yet really tweaked CacheEdge for parallel 32 bit, so 64 may still have a lead in threaded.
